Ukrainian Chemistry Journal

Types of Paper Acceptable

The journal aims to focus attention on fundamental and applied aspects of inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, electrochemistry, organic chemistry and chemistry of polymers. Thus papers on the basic and other aspects in the following fields will constitute the major part of each issue.

Review articles discussing specific areas of inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, electrochemistry, organic chemistry and chemistry of polymers of current fundamental and technological importance are also published. While offers of such reviews are welcome, prospective authors are urged to contact the Editor before commencing their preparation.

Authors are asked to present their papers, particularly the synopsis and introduction, in such a way that they will be comprehensible to both specialists in the particular aspect covered and to other chemists. The motives for the research must be clearly stated and attention should be directed to possible fundamental and industrial applications of the work. The treatments should not, however, be lengthy and discursive; papers should be as brief as is compatible with clarity.

Short papers will be published as "Short communications", or "Technical Notes" and no synopsis isnecessary for this category.
