Isovalent substitution of A-position atoms in layer structure of MeLnnBIII nO3n+1 (Me = Ba, Sr, BIII = Sc, In)
  • Summary: By using the method of X-ray phase analysis and on the basis of the dependences of (a, b, c, V)= f(x), the borders of phase areas with layer perovskite- like structure (LPS) in 16 systems of the following types like SrLa1–хLn*xScO4 (Ln* = Gd,Dy, Yb), SrLn2–х- Ln*xSc2O7 (Ln = La, Eu, Ln* = Dy, Еr, Lu) and Me1–х- Me*xLnBIIIO4 , Me1–xMe*xLn2BIII 2O7 (Me= Ba, Sr, Me* = Sr, Ca, BIII = Sc, In) are established. The existence criteria of scandates and indates of general composition of Me1–xMe*xLnnBIII nO3n+1 and SrLnn–хLn*xScnO3n+1 (n = 1, 2) with LPS are determined and analysed.

Regularities and peculiarities of interaction in Me—P—S(Se) systems (Ме — Cu, Ag, Zn, Cd, In, Tl, Sn, Pb, Sb, Bi)
  • Summary: The analysis of Me–P–S(Se) systems is based on the results of investigation of physico-chemical interaction in 18 quasibinary systems. It was found out that 38 ternary compounds are formed in these systems. Isothermal sections of 10 ternary Me–P–S(Se) systems were built on the basis of obtained experimental results. The character of chemical interaction in ternary systems is discussed depending on phase equilibria in quasibinary systems and in binary systems bordering ternary ones. Different number and composition of ternary compounds is explaining by electron composition of elements. It was discovered that ternary compounds with selenium are more inclined to form the homogeneity ranges. Mechanism of formation of solid solutions in different systems and composition of ternary phosphide-sulphides depending on first elements in them are provided in present study.

Selective conversion of glycerol–ethanol mixture into ethyl lactate over СеO2/Al2O3-catalyst
  • Summary: The transformation of 20 % glycerol solution in ethanol into ethyl lactate over supported СеO2/Al2O3 catalyst in the presence of oxygen at 210— 240 °С has been studied. It was shown that 93 % selectivity towards ethyl lactate at 80 % glycerol conversion is observed on the catalyst with 5 % wt. СеO2 content under molar ratio of oxygen : glycerol = 1:2. The threestep conversion scheme glycerol ® glyceral ® pyvural ®ethyl lactate is discussed according to which СеO2 provides the selective formation of glyceral.

Transesterification and esterification of triglycerides to improve their properties on carbon catalyst
  • Summary: Described a series of experiments on the chemical modification of lietary fats of different qualities in order to obtain fat products with improved performance – with low acidity (esterification reaction) and temperature melting point Tmelt (transesterification reac tion) in the presence of carbon catalysts of different origin. Obtained fats needed for fat quality of the industry, as well as the most effective carbon acid catalysts. The optimal conditions of the studied reactions have been used to further the srude of practically important process PE rapeseed oil – the synthesis of biodiesel.

Sinthesis of argentum nanoparticles in solutions
  • Summary: It has been found by spectroscopic data that crystalosolvates [Ag+(H2O)2]{NO3–(H2O)n}, [Ag+(C2H6O)2]{NO3–(C2H6O)n}, [Ag+(C2H6O2)2]{NO3–(C2H6O2)n} are formed in aqua, ethanol and ethyleneglicol. Ag0 metal nanoparticles, with sizes in diapason of 15—35 nm (viewed from transmission electronic micro scopy microphotographies), were obtained by varying of a reductant and temperature.

Interaction of phosphoric acid with carbonate sediment
  • Summary: Methods of chemical analysis of initial reagents, pН-measurement of filter solutions, thermogravimetry and X-ray diffraction are studied the interaction inter phosphoric acid and industrial carbonate precipitation. The nature of the compounds are installed in obtained of the dry air, calcined at 660 and 850 оC the reaction product mixture. The temperatures of dehydration, interaction and phase transitions are determined. It is shown that the obtained results can be used in the process of creation of technology for recycling of carbonate precipitation on the phosphate fertilizers.

Removal of ions heavy metals from aqueous solutions using Zn/Al-layered double hydroxides intercalated with [Fe(CN)6]4–-ions
  • Summary: The efficiency of sorption removal Cu(II), Co(II), Cd(II), Ni(II), Pb(II), Zn(II) and Mn(II) of both individual and from multicomponent aqueous solutions zinc-aluminum layered double hydroxides intercalated with [Fe(CN)6]4–-ions was studied. Based on these results and the literature concluded that the sorption of ions that the sorption of heavy metal ions (II) from aqueous solutions on mentioned sorbent due to several sorption mechanisms: complexation, ion exchange and precipitation of metal hydroxides. It has been established that zinc-aluminum layered double hydroxide intercalated [Fe(CN)6]4–-ions is more effective and selective removal of Cu (II) from aqueous solutions.

Preconcentration of aliphatic aldehydes С1–С5 by solid-phase microextraction of its o-(2,3,4,5,6-pentafluorobenzyl)hydroxylamine derivatives
  • Summary: Headspace solid-phase microextraction procedure followed by gas chromatography with flame ionization detection has been developed for the determination of aliphatic aldehydes С1–С5 in form of its o-(2,3,4,5,6-pentafluorobenzyl)hydroxylamine derivatives in water samples. Commercial polydimethylsiloxane- divinylbenzene fiber was used as preconcentration coating. Under optimal conditions, distribution constants between acceptor and donor phases of analytes were in the range 2490—19400, and limits of detection were 0.14—0.41 mg/L.

Atomic absorption and atomic emission with inductively coupled plasma detection of manganese in petrochemicals
  • Summary: The sample preparation of petrochemicals was conducted with the help of surface active compounds, microwave and ultrasound treatment. The manganese content was estimated by the atomic absorption and atomic emission with inductively coupled plasma methods using the manganese acetylacetonate as a standard composition sample. The most complete extraction of manganese from petrochemical products was achieved at their ultrasound treatment with aqueous Triton X-100 solution. Application of manganese acetylacetonate as a sample composition standard allows to make chemical composition of the analyzed and calibration solutions closer one to another, to increase the precision and correctness of the manganese detection.

Sensory characteristics of the cyclodextrin derivatives
  • Summary: A synthesis of the cyclodextrin derivatives (CD) obtained by replacement of the primary hydroxyl groups by silicon containing fragment and secondary hydroxyls by various organic groups, such as methyl, acetyl, furanoyl, benzoyl were carried out. Sensory characteristics of the cyclodextrin derivatives were examined by eight-channel gas sensing system based on a Quartz Crystal Microbalance (QCM) technique. The kinetics of binding, sensitivity and detection limit (DL) have been studied. It was revealed that the greatest response observed for chloroform, toluene, benzene and butyl acetate vapors. The detection limit for these analytes was in the range of 30—100 ppm. It is shown that changing of the size and nature of substituents at the CD upper rim affects significantly on the layers’ sensitivity towards analyte vapors.

Mechanochemical modification of the structure and physico-mechanical proptrties of polyethylene, carbide-containing Si, Ti and Mo
  • Summary: The molecular, supramolecular structure and physico-mechanical properties of composite materials obtained by dispersing the combined linear polyethylene and particulate silicon carbide, titanium and molybdenum vibrating mill. The correlation between the structure, hardness and heat resistance of composite materials has been established.
