Synthesis and spectral characteristics of syn- and anti-isomers of 2-(2-aminothiazol-4-yl)-2-hydroxyiminoacetic acids, theirs complex compounds with transition metal ions
  • Summary: It was investigated the complexation reactions of syn- and anti-isomers of 2-(2-aminothiazole- 4-yl)-2-hydroxyiminoacetic acid with a number of transition metal ions. Synthesis methodology have been developed and 12 new Cu(II), Ru(III), Rh(III) and Pd(II) complex compounds was obtained. It was established that the syn-isomer is co-ordinated to the metal ions in by nitrogen atoms of the thiazole nucleus and the oxime group. In complexes involving anti-isomer coordination occurs by the oxygen atom of the deprotonated carboxyl group and nitrogen atom of hydroxyimino group, while the thiazole nucleus is not involved in complexation. Biological screening revealed the antiproliferative effect of complexes 1, 6, 8 and 12 on endothelial cells. It was found that the activity of the complexes based on syn-isomer exceeds the activity of similar complexes with anti-isomer.

Synthesis route influence on forming process and dielectric properties of the Ba(Ti 0.6Zr0.4)O3 solid solution
  • Summary: Solid solution barium zirconate-titanate Ba(Ti0.6Zr0.4)O3 have been obtained by three different methods: solid state reactions, precipitation from solutions and sol-gel (Pechini’s method). The effect of production route on formation process and electrical properties have been studied. It was shown that using of Pechini’s method allows to decrease the synthesis and sintering temperature significantly and also provides high (32% at 35 kV/cm) values of tunability coefficient companied with low dielectric losses.

Synthesis and investigation of zeolite-related complex phosphates in the system Rb 2O—P2O5— Ga2O3—MIIO (MII – Mg, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn)
  • Summary: The peculiarities of crystal formation in self-flux system Rb2O—P2O5—Ga2O3—MIIO (MII – Mg, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn) (molar ratios Rb2O/P2O5 = 1.0 or 1.2, Ga/P =0.3 and Ga/MII =1.0) have been determined. The conditions of crystallization of complex phosphates Rb2MІІ 2Ga(PO4)3 and RbMIIPO4 were founded. The results of powder X-ray diffraction and FTIR-spectroscopy indicate that the obtained complex phosphates belong to zeolite structure type. According to the thermal analysis the melting temperatures for Rb2MІІ 2Ga(PO4)3 are above 1150 °С.

The influence of surfactants on the rheological properties of coal-alcogol suspensions obtained by using aqueous ethanolic solutions
  • Summary: The effect of different classes of surfactants on the rheological characteristics of coal-alcohol suspensions was investigated. It has been identified that suspensions has the best characteristics in which com position are non-ionic surfactants with sufficiently long aliphatic chains. It is shown that the best thinning and stabilizing effect have the reagents at a concentration in the system exeeding the critical micelle concentration. In the course of experiments was obtained the system with characteristics allowing their using as a fuel for power plants.

Effect of interaction in systems ytterbium chalcospinel—germanium on properties of thin-film coatings
  • Summary: CVD-composites of YbM2X4 (M – Yb, In; X –S, Se)—Ge composition are synthesised by sintering in inert atmosphere. Their spectral characteristics in wide spectral interval from UV- to far IR-spectrum range are investigated. Influence of cation and anion substitution in chalcoshpinel on the volatility of composite is established. Refractive index and mechanical durability of the coatings obtained by thermal evaporation of composites in vacuum are determined.

Conducting properties of lead (II) tetrafluorostannate (II)
  • Summary: The conductivity of the polycrystalline samples -PbSnF4 was investigated by the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and voltammetry. The compound has high fluoride-ion conductivity (210–4— 210–2 S/cm) and low values — of the activation energy of the mobility of fluoride anions in the temperature range 293—573K was found. The electronic conductivity of synthesized compound on 2—2.5 orders of magnitude smaller than the ions conductivity in the measured temperature range.

Electroosmotic intensification of mass transfer in the soil purification from heavy metals
  • Summary: An experimental investigation of the regularities of the electroosmotic transport of pore solution at electrocleaning sod-podzol soil is conducted. The effect of the structural features of the system, comprising an electrochemically active porous diaphragm, on the rate of electroosmotic flow and stability is studied. It is shown that using a modification, which provides the intensive washing of soil contaminated with nickel by electroosmotic desorbing solution, increases the degree of purification and the nickel component of current by almost 2 times in comparison with standard processing conditions.

  • Summary: New N,N-disubstituted 5-spirocyclopenten- 3-yl-2,4,6-trioxohexohydropyrimidines have been synthesized by ring-closing metathesis reactions. Obtaining compounds may be testosterone 17beta-dehydrogenase (NADP+) inhibitors, kidney function stimulant, proteasome ATPase inhibitor and antieczemic substances according to prognosis of biological activity via Prediction of Activity Spectra for Substances program.

7-N-Acylamino functionalized derivatives of pyrazolo[3,4- e][1,4]diazepines
  • Summary: 7-N-Acylamino functionalized pyrazolo[ 3,4-e][1,4]diazepin-4-ones were synthesized by reacting 7-hydroxypyrazolo[3,4-e][1,4]diazepin-4-ones with a low nucleophilic aminocompounds (amides, carbamates, ureas) in wather—dimethylsulfoxide (5:1).
